Refund Policy

Refund and Cancellation Policy for Construction Services

This Refund and Cancellation Policy outlines the conditions under which Bridges Masonry Inc grants refunds and manages cancellations for the construction, renovation, or masonry services ("Services") contracted through this website or directly with our company.

Please note: This policy applies primarily to deposits, preparation work, and cancellation fees. Refunds on completed construction work are addressed under our Warranty and Dispute Resolution terms (not detailed here).

1. Deposits and Initial Payments

All projects may require an upfront non-refundable deposit to secure your project slot, initiate material procurement, and cover administrative and scheduling costs.

This secures your place on our schedule and covers preliminary costs like design review, permit application preparation, and site preparation planning.

Material Pre-Payment Conditional Refund If a separate payment is required for building materials this portion is refundable only if the materials have not yet been ordered or delivered by the supplier.

2. Client-Requested Cancellation

Clients that request a cancelation within less than 48 hours prior to any project starting that have made a deposit or payment of any kind will NOT receive any kind of refund due to scheduling availability and administrative fees.

3. Company-Requested Cancellation

In the rare event that Bridges Masonry Inc must cancel a project before any work has begun (e.g., due to unforeseen staffing issues, scheduling conflicts, or material supply impossibility), the following applies:

  • 100% of all funds paid to date, including the initial non-refundable deposit, will be refunded to the client within 30 days of the official cancelation date.

  • We will attempt to assist the client in finding an alternative, qualified contractor if possible.

4. Cancellation Due to Lack of Permits

If the project is canceled because the client failed to secure necessary permits or approvals (when it was the client's responsibility per the contract), the cancellation will be treated as a Client-Requested Cancellation with less than 15 days' notice.

5. Disputes and Refunds for Completed Work

Refunds are generally not issued for work that has been completed and accepted by the client. However, our commitment is to quality:

  • Defective Work: Any remedy for defects in construction work that has already been completed will be redone by the Bridges Masonry Inc owner's discretion.

  • Warranty Remedy: Remedies for defective work will typically involve repair, replacement, or correction of the work performed, not a cash refund for the work itself.

6. Processing Refunds

All approved refunds will be processed within 30 business days of the cancellation agreement date.

  • Refunds will be issued back to the original payment method used for the transaction. If the original payment method is unavailable, a company check will be issued to the contracting party.
